At SAVO, we truly try to create a welcoming, warm corporate culture that inspires the creativity of our employees. Sure, we offer a generous benefits package that covers the basics and more. And even our more “traditional perks” go above and beyond, including free and plentiful coffee and sodas, produce delivered fresh each week, and a discount to a local gym with facilities all over Chicago.
At SAVO, however, a large part of our corporate culture is around valuing our employees’ contributions and facilitating employee camaraderie. As a software company, much of our company activity goes into building our software application. To make sure each employee feels his/her contributions are valued, we host Release Parties after each software release. We also invite employees from across the company, not just our executives, to contribute to our public-facing corporate blog. We welcome and celebrate these contributions from around company (indeed, they’re our most popular blog posts!). We further recognize the value and power of all employees by the creation of the Guru Council, a team that provides guidance on SAVO’s corporate culture and bring new projects to life. To facilitate camaraderie among SAVO employees, we take time to relax with one another in company-sponsored events. Underlying everything we do is the goal of creating a corporate culture where our employees are recognized and rewarded.
